Tiffany Yu, currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Science and Business Administration at the University of Southern California.
I was born in Torrance, California but I grew up in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I was brought up speaking Mandarin to my parents, English to my older sister and friends, and Taiwanese to my grandmother.
Because I grew up surrounded by different languages and dialects, I’ve always been drawn to unique forms of communication. It also led me to pursue such contrasting areas of study.
